We strive to build positive relationships with all our clients and generally engage in thorough discussions with you beforehand. Nevertheless, we have established terms and conditions for utilizing our services.

General:

We reserve the right to cancel services or decline the sale of services at any time. We will make every effort to discuss this with you before cancellation becomes necessary and will only do so as a last resort at our discretion.
Refunds are not provided for cancelled services unless under mitigating circumstances, which must be discussed with us. Cancellation policies differ for Walking clients, where separate terms are specified in your contract.
As positive-only trainers (with exceptions in cases of negative punishment such as turning our backs on dogs that jump up), we do not tolerate aversive training or handling methods involving pain, fear, intimidation, or punishment. If such methods are observed, we reserve the right to terminate any service without a refund.

One-to-One Sessions:

One-to-one sessions are offered individually or in packages. You must utilize your purchased package sessions within two weeks of your last session. These sessions do not last indefinitely, and no refunds will be offered if we do not hear from you for more than a month.
All terms specified in your one-to-one consultation form contract do not override any general terms and conditions of Cerberus Dog Walking and Training.
If you are unable to use your booked packages within the agreed timeframe due to medical reasons affecting your dog, a refund for the remaining services at the original purchase price will be provided. No refunds will be given if you choose not to use your booked sessions.

Classes:

By booking into our course you agree to the following terms and conditions:

We will not provide a refund if you have booked onto the course and are unable to attend unless under mitigating circumstances discussed with us. We reserve the right to refuse refund if not given adequate notice as we could have otherwise filled the slot on the booking.
We do not accept the use of aversive training equipment or training methods. Equipment may include, but is not limited to, prong collars, choke collars/chains, slip leads, E collars, or anything we deem will cause pain or unnecessary discomfort to a dog. We do not condone physical corrections, fear, intimidation or punishment. We will speak to you about this in person if it is used, but if we deem continued and excessive use of any aversive methods, you will be asked to leave and not return. If you are asked to leave the course, you will not be provided a refund.
If your dog is unsuited to the class learning environment, we will try everything reasonable within our power to include you and your dog in the class, but in some cases, it isn’t always possible. These are looked at on a case-by-case basis where we may offer you one-to-one work with you and your dog as an alternative.
We offer suggested equipment to help your training journey and offer advice on equipment we don’t feel is helpful or can potentially cause harm. Using these in class will not result in any negative consequences from us, such as removal from class or any of the training exercises, unless they are deemed to be dangerous and will cause harm to your dog. For instance, for recall, we may practice using a long line, in which case your dog will not be able to participate in this exercise if they are on a collar for safety reasons, as using a long line on a collar could potentially cause serious harm to your dog.
If we believe any exercise or technique may harm your dog, we will ask you not to participate. This could be due to your dog's medical issues or harmful equipment. You will still learn the techniques for future use when the conditions are right, but may need to refrain during the class if needed.
