Stop Pulling!! Loose Lead Walking - 6pm

Service Description

Lead work is hard! No bones about it! It’s frustrating, painful and can seem almost impossible! Don’t worry, we’ve been there. We’ll arm you and your dog with the skills you need to be the best walking duo, with the nicest lead manners! This 3 week mini course will teach you fun and engaging tactics to get your dog to finally stop pulling!! We’ll cover – • Focus on you while outside • General handling skills to get them back into position and stay there • Not pulling off towards distractions/other dogs/prey etc. • You get sent extensive notes after each class, with the how, what and why of everything we went over • Smaller class size so there’s plenty of room • Week 3 we’ll take what we’ve learned outside to put it in practice in the real world (unless in severe weather) Pre-requisites – You’ll not get much out of our class if your dog can’t do the below. I recommend our beginner classes first if they don’t have the following skills: • Eye contact when requested (It doesn’t have to be perfect, they just have to know it) • Know their name • Stand by your side (heel position. Once again, doesn’t need to be perfect) • Limited reactivity – Barking is okay, but they need to be able to work in a class environment and focus around other dogs We're a positive-only training class as these methods are backed by all the latest and best science-based methods, proven to be the best way dogs learn.
